MDBS is the LTT measurement database system used to store LTT measurements. It comes with a standalone version of LTT MesVis, a graphical viewer for LTT measurements.

NI installers

The LTT software relies on third-party components from National Instruments, notably TestStand and LabVIEW 2019.

The LTT software is compatible not only with TestStand 2019 but also with newer TestStand versions. However, we only guarantee that it is working well with TestStand 2019 components. So use newer NI releases on your own risk. For LabVIEW, you can use any custom code from any LabVIEW version, ensuring that the corresponding LabVIEW runtime is installed.

For legacy systems we also offer the LTT software based on the older NI 2014 platform. However since LTT software release 3.5.9 we do no longer support the old NI 2014 platform.

Additional components needed for the LTT software to run are:

MesVis / MDBS

MDBS is the "measurement database system" of the life time tester. It is a bundle of

  • Oracle MySQL database

  • Apache webserver

  • PHP / phpMyAdmin (for DB administration)

The LTT GUI stores configuration in MySQL database.

The LTT GUI also has the option to record measurements into a MySQL database table.

MesSy II / MesSy II FD

The LTT software is typically used in combination with a MesSy hardware. For more information and downloads about MesSy see the corresponding page.
