# Overview
In this download section you will find all software downloads related to IRS Life Time Testers (LTT)

## NI installers
The LTT software relies on third-party components from National Instruments, notably TestStand and LabVIEW.

The NI Installers can be automatically downloaded by the LTT installer or you can download them here and provide them to the LTT installer. The LTT installer is able to call each NI installer without any user interaction. There is no need to manually install the NI software!

The latest LTT software ships with **TestStand 2019** and the LabVIEW libraries, which are part of the LTT software - are made with **LabVIEW 2019**.
If you want, you can use any newer TestStand version up to **TestStand 2023**. We do not provide free support for running the LTT software with TestStand newer than 2023.
Which version of LabVIEW code you can use depends on the used version of TestStand. There is an official [compatibility table](https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/compatibility/18/teststand-compatibility-with-labview-and-labwindows--cvi-.html). We do not guarantee that LabVIEW code made with version X can run in TestStand version y. We only guarantee that with TestStand 2019 you can run LabVIEW code with versions 2014 - 2025.
For legacy systems we also offer the LTT software based on the older NI 2014 platform. However since LTT software release 3.5.9 we do no longer support the old NI 2014 platform.

You can download the above listed NI components and copy them into a folder on the system you want to install the LTT software. Then, when you start the LTT installer, you can choose the option "local folder", where you are asked to provide a folder containing those NI installers. The rest is automatic.
## MesVis / MDBS
MDBS is the "measurement database system" of the life time tester. It is a bundle of
* Oracle MySQL database
* Apache webserver
* PHP / phpMyAdmin (for DB administration)
The LTT GUI stores configuration in MySQL database.
The LTT GUI also has the option to record measurements into a MySQL database table.

Starting with LTT installer 3.6.0, new MDBS 4.0 will be installed.
* MDBS 4.0 has updated MySQL / Apache versions due to security concerns with the older versions. **However, when you install MDBS 4.0, old measurements recorded with previous version of MDBS/MySQL cannot be opened any more!**
* Updating an existing LTT to 3.6.0 or above is not affected since the original MDBS will be kept!
* If you need to update the MDBS of an existing LTT because of IT security, please contact IRS for support.
* If you need to use new MDBS but still need to be able to access old measurement data, please contact IRS for support.

## MesSy II / MesSy II FD

**Attention**
* There is a break in MesSy firmware compatibility between latest compatibility level 5 (CL5-2022-11-30) and newer compatibility levels (starting with CL7-2021.09.29).
* MesSy CL5-2022-11-30 was the last release based on LabVIEW 2014. Newer releases are based on LabVIEW 2019.
* The last LTT SW installer to support LabVIEW 2014 MesSy is 3.5.8.
* If you have a MesSy II with a LabVIEW 2014 firmware running, and want to use it with later MesSy II API versions (CL7 or higher), you need the MesSy version switching tool to update the firmware from 2014 to 2019.
